What would it be like to be a dog?

As I look around our house I wonder what would it be like to be a dog?  Not just any dog but one that is spoiled and pampered.  Yes, I am talking about my dogs.  Currently we have 4.  I know that is just CRAZY!  What can I say but I lead a crazy life. Back to the dogs, Clancy is passed out on the couch snoring so loudly I had to turn up the t.v.  Annie is sleeping on my bed.  Zoe, who I wonder if she was a cat in another life, is in her special spot.  Then we have our foster snuggled up in her bed.  To be one of our dogs you have plenty of food, someone to love on you all of the time, nice furniture to sleep on, and people to take you for daily walks.  Everything is right there at your paws.
Do they wonder what life would be like as a human?  Sometimes, I am positive my dogs think I am a dumb A**!  They just look at me and I can tell that is what they are thinking.
Of course, I love their enthusiasm and excitement every time I come home.  HAHAH!  NOT...my dogs are so lazy they barely lift their heads to acknowledge we are home.  They are more irritated that we woke them from their slumber then excited to see us.
Clancy does this crazy thing that I am not sure if it irritates me or is it funny.  He is too dainty to go outside and tough it out in the elements so he likes to stand with his head out of the dog door while the rest of his body is still content in the climate controlled house.  What a weenie.
Before I had this clan of dogs I had one dog that was pretty human, but I will have to write about her another day.  I am pretty sure I should write a children's book about her.
I know, I am drifting off subject.  I believe I am tired tonight.  I will have to revisit this subject another night.  My dogs are very entertaining and make me laugh all of the time.  I cannot wait to tell you more.  I am sure you will be on the edge of your seats with anticipation!

OMG!!! I am old!

Wow, I realized today that I am old.  That is a startling shock when it becomes a reality.  Today I was at the mall waiting in the Chick-fil-a line when some teenaged punk cut in front of me.  I mentioned to him that there was a line and he replied,"yeah, there are two lines".  I then replied, "there is one line that waits for an open cashier."  He then ordered while I was still waiting in line.  Then the next cashier call for "next" which was me.  I turned to him and said," gee look, there is only one line waiting for an open cashier.  I guess you are more entitled to your food then the rest of us.  Oh wait, I was right tool there is only one line and you just cut."  I really wanted to throttle him and beat the !@#! out of him!
OMG, is that what an old bitter lady would say.  Or was I justified?  Of course his friends were all telling him that he was wrong and that he cut in line.
Then I went to have a few drinks with some former students.  They are only in their 20's while I approach my 40's.  Really??? I am almost 40.
Speaking of 40's, I looked at Zane's football friends parents and I am a good 4-10 years older then them.  Some of them could have been former students.  I am feeling the age.... that is what scares me the most!  Is it just a number or is it the definate?

Really???

Wow, today is the first day of my break and I spent it doing errands.  Really????  When I was a kid I thought I would live the fab life.  Not running errands for my 90 year old Granny.  I started the day going and getting a new handicap window tag.  Of course, this was necesary since I got a ticket on Saturday for parking in a handicap without my window tag.  The tag was there but out of date and not hanging.  I then went over to the court and got the ticket waived.  Good thing too since I parked my car in the parking spot and I didn't hang the tag but the ticket was in Cory's name.  LOL!  He was sooo mad at me!  OOPS!  I took care of it all.
After that mess I went and finished up my Granny's shopping for Christmas.  I completed her shopping and mine today too!  Yeah!  I got to pick out my gift from her so that was a highlight of my day.  I picked out for myself a hot pink patent leather purse.  I cannot wait to open it up at Christmas!  I might have splurged a tad but I am worth it!  HAHAHA!  I crack my self up sometimes.
When I got home I finally put away my Halloween decorations and forced Cory to get out my Christmas decorations.  After looking at them I am ready for some new ones and new ideas.  I posted it on Facebook that I was looking for some new ideas and my cousin Todd went crazy with redneck pictures.  I know I am from Texas but REALLY???
I guess this it for today.  I am not sure that I am the best blogger.  Maybe I will get the hang of it soon enough!
